Week 8 Challenge: Stemware and Glasses

Are your glasses in disarray? Do you have an unbroken matched set of glasses or are you using three glasses from one set, two from another, four from a third?

The location of your drinking glasses in the kitchen is important. You don’t want your glasses too far from the sink nor too far from the refrigerator!

We’ll call this the “before” photo of my cupboard with all the glasses. Hope to see a big change in the “after” photo!

Everyday drinking glasses should be stored in a cabinet near the sink and/or refrigerator. The glasses you use most often should be on the bottom shelf and the glasses used less frequently on the top.

Line the shelves with a cushioned shelf liner.

Keep plastic drinking glasses in a separate cabinet, maybe one that the kids can reach.

Be prepared to weed out the stuff you no longer use and either put it in your garage sale pile, give to family/friend who could use it, or donate to charity!

Fancy stemware should be stored in a glass-front cabinet if you have one. If not, consider an under the cabinet stemware rack. Very inexpensive on Amazon.

An under the cabinet stemware glass can free cabinet space for ordinary regular drinking glasses. Show off the good stuff!
