Mmmmm, pizza! We eat pizza at least once a week in our house. There are four or five of us ordering pizza and usually we order three different types: one is ham, one is cheese, and two are Greek pizza with white sauce.
We also buy frozen pizza. When we do eat frozen pizza, we usually “doctor” it up with more cheese, garlic, chopped vegetables.
We like thin crust pizza. Gluten-free pizza has a great thin, crispy crust. We have discovered that cauliflower crust can be crispy and is tasty, too. The pizzas in the photo are CauliPower brand, purchased at Hannaford.
Have you tried making cauliflower crust? We have tried but could not get enough moisture out of the cauliflower. The frozen cauliflower crust pizza we bought is perfect. It cooks up crispy, too.
Since we make our own pizza, it’s important to have a great pizza cutter.
These cauliflower pizzas fit perfectly on cookie sheets. I should have lined the cookie sheets with foil, although there was very little clean up, just a little scrubbing with a soft sponge. These two cookie sheets fit perfectly side-by-side in the oven. I have a Pampered Chef pizza stone but rarely use it.
I like having pans that can serve multi purposes and these cookie sheets aren’t expensive and can be purchased at a lot of stores.
What’s your favorite pizza?
