Check out the organizing / cleaning / decluttering challenges. Take a week, take a month, but get started! Some challenges will be simple while other challenges will be more difficult. You might need to make purchases for some of the challenges if you don’t have the supplies needed, but don’t worry, I’ll share links to products that I use or recommend. Most of the products can be purchased through online stores and delivered right to your door.
My partner, who happens to be my mother, will follow up the challenge with a response showing how we tackled the challenge.
As a refresher, we started off the challenge with tasks that need to be completed each day. These tasks are separate from the weekly challenge. As a reminder, these are the daily tasks:
EVERY DAY:
Make beds
Wash dishes
Wipe bathroom and kitchen counters
Pickup clutter throughout house (have a place to deposit the clutter until it can be put away properly)
Do laundry (if none, yay!)
Empty trash
MONDAY:
Dust and vacuum
TUESDAY:
Clean bathroom(s)
WEDNESDAY:
Wipe down surfaces in kitchen such as microwave, appliances, coffee maker, cabinets
THURSDAY:
Vacuum and mop
FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY:
Clean bedrooms and living room. Work on one of the weekly challenges!
