A few tips to remember during winter weather:
Keep your pets indoors when you’re indoors. Cats should not be left outdoors in winter. Dogs can be brought outdoors for exercise, but kept indoors the rest of the time. Also, check your pets’ paw pads when you go back inside and look for frostbite or salt and chemicals used to melt ice.
Pets use more energy to stay warm in the winter so make sure to feed more and keep the water bowl full.
