Happy #ThirstyThursday! It’s the Holiday season and time to be festive! Try out some of these mock cocktails this year at your next gathering!
Virgin Margarita:
Ingredients
Kosher salt for rimming glass
4 ounces simple syrup
2 ounces lime juice
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce orange juice
Lime wheels or wedges for garnish
Instructions
Pour about 1 teaspoon of kosher salt on a small plate. Moisten rim of glass by rubbing with a lime wedge. Dip rim of glass into salt to coat evenly.
Pour simple syrup, lime juice, lemon juice and orange juice in a cocktail shaker filled about half full with ice. Cover and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Pour into rimmed glass. Garnish with lime wheel or wedge.
Non-Alcoholic Sangria:
Ingredients
Fresh lemon slices
Fresh lime slices
Fresh orange slices
Cranberries
2 cups cranberry juice
2 cups grape juice
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
4 cups San Pellegrino sparkling mineral water OR lemon-lime soda
Instructions
In a large pitcher, add the lemon slices, lime slices, orange slices, and cranberries. Add cranberry juice, grape juice, orange juice and lemon juice. Stir well. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Virgin Mary Cocktail:
Ingredients
Lemon or lime wedge for rimming glass
Choice of seasoning(s) for rimming glass
8 ounces tomato juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lime juice
2 to 3 drops hot pepper sauce
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon prepared horseradish
Dash freshly ground black pepper
Desired toppings (shrimp!)
Instructions
Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of the seasoning you’re using on a small plate.
Rub lemon or lime wedge around rim of glass to moisten. Dip rim of glass into seasoning to coat evenly.
Fill glass with ice.
Fill a cocktail shaker about half full of ice. Add tomato juice, lemon juice, lime juice, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish and pepper. Cover and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Strain into rimmed glass with ice.
Garnish with desired toppings.
Orange Moscow Mule:
Ingredients
1 cup orange juice
1 cup ice 6.8 oz bottle light ginger beer, I love Fever Tree Refreshingly Light
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Slice the orange in quarters, then cut 2 to 3 slices for garnish and set aside.
Juice the rest of the orange and place it in a copper mug (or any glass).
Fill the glass with ice to the top. Add the ginger beer and garnish with orange slices and mint leaves.
