#whattodo #wednesdayweekly My “Things to do this week” post is about sources of finding events that you find interesting and rewarding. Some events are in-person and some are online.

For example, if you live in the Lewiston-Auburn, Maine community, visit LA Arts’ ACLA event calendar at: https://laarts.org/calendar. You can change the month and year to search for events at specific times. LA Arts has its own calendar of events and it is the organization that markets the monthly Art Walks during May to October. ACLA is an advocacy group for the arts in L-A, Maine. Members include:

Androscoggin Historical Society

Auburn Public Library

Bates Dance Festival

Bates Museum of Art

Community Little Theatre

Franco-American Collection at USM

Franco Center (yay! where my mom works LOL). Saturday, Jan. 6 Love for Lewiston (click here for link FMI and tickets) concert produced by Ken Goodman at the Franco Center features these musicians:

Another great source of events is the Sun Journal’s online community calendar. You can change their default “Peru, Maine” location to any other location in Maine. My LINK HERE is to Lewiston, Maine events.

It’s great when your smartphone takes awesome photos, but some situations require a real camera! If it’s been a while since you bought a camera, you can find different types on my Amazon affiliate page. Just know that newer cameras have features that are time-saving such as AirDrop, bluetooth technology, and focus tools that save some editing time. I have a Nikon but am looking for a new camera after the holidays, maybe for my birthday in the spring. Check out these cameras!
