It’s time to have some fun while making these goody bags for your favorite littles. If you haven’t been to the Dollar Tree for your Valentine’s Day supplies yet, best get there today!
Goody bags for little boys and girls:
You’ll need:
Goody bags: Clear or themed gift bags
Candy: Chocolates wrapped in foil to look like strawberries
Small gifts: Tiny stuffed animals, little cars or trucks, yo-yos = any item appropriate for the age and that fits in the goody bag
Ribbon: to tie the bag
Gift tags
Magic markers
This is what your goody bag could look like when finished:
Dollar Tree has a website with lots of pretty cool Valentine-themed items. I love the gnomes! If you don’t have time to order online, zip down to the store nearest you and cross your fingers that the good stuff hasn’t already been picked over and empty shelves.

Wrapped candies
Strawberry Bon Bons by Cambie. These aren’t for littles, but they are nice to have in a candy jar for your big friends.
HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Filled with Strawberry Flavored Crème Hearts Candy
200Pcs Candy Treat Bags 4″ x 6″ Clear Cellophane Bag& 2.8” x 4” Small Treat Bags with Ties
48 Pcs Valentine’s Day Gift Bag Plastic Treat Bags
40PCS Valentine’s Day Paper Gift Tags with String
24 Pack Mini Animal Plush Toy Assortment (24 Units 3″ Each)
The idea is to take one of the goody bags, whichever style you’ve chosen, and put a little toy, some type of small gift, in the bag. Add a few wrapped candies appropriate for the age and careful of any dietary restraints. Tie the bag, add a gift tag.
If the gift tag style you’ve chosen has room for you to write a message, think of something complimentary, such as, “You are awesome!” and “You are a good friend!” and “You make me smile!”
That’s it! A cute, quick gift for the littles!
