I had so much fun decorating my table and dining area with Easter decorations tonight. Some of the decorations have been in my family for years and some are new.
Last year we did shopped at after-the-holiday Easter sales and got some good deals. The items that have been in my family for years bring back a lot of good memories which is one of the reasons I like decorating.
For Christmas we put decorations throughout the house, but for other holidays we mostly decorate the table and dining/kitchen area. We also usually put up a wreath outside near the front door for each holiday.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these Easter decorations! These decorations came from five plastic totes (you can see one tote in the background of one of these photos). Each holiday I put away the decorations around the house in storage totes and then bring up (from the basement storage area) more totes of either the next holiday or decorations for in between holidays. It’s like shopping all over again.
How do you decorate for the holidays? How do you store your decorations? I have metal shelves (some wire and some solid) that I move around depending on what space is needed in the basement (it’s a finished basement).
This adorable rabbit ears napkin was so easy to make! We first saw the idea on the Facebook page of https://www.pamsdailydish.com and she was sharing the link from the Facebook page of World of Best Recipes. After that, I found many sites with similar folding techniques.
Are you having ham for Easter dinner? Here is the post for my ham dinner recipe.
