My dad still has a Stanley thermos that he bought about 50 years ago, before he married my mom! He’s always used it when he goes ice fishing. When my brother started going ice fishing with him, my dad bought my brother his own Stanley thermos.

Nowadays, everyone uses insulated travel mugs that hold up to 20 ounces of hot or cold beverages. Some of these mugs have handles. We have a lot of different brands. We bought a lot of the Yeti brand.
We see a lot of people talking about the Stanley brand. That is what made me wonder if we still have my dad’s Stanley thermos. You know where it’s kept? In that awkward cabinet above the refrigerator! My mom definitely has to use a step stool to access anything above the refrigerator.
We needed to organize them and found these stackable racks that work great except for the really large mugs. How do you store your mugs?
I just love these stackable shelves for the mugs! I wish my cupboard was taller so that I could stack more! We really do have a lot of these insulated mugs.
The cabinet that we use for the mug storage is also where we store things like Tylenol, Advil, Emergen-C, and cold medicine. So a little space was reserved on one shelf for these medicines. It’s up high so there’s no chance of a young child getting into the cabinet. Below this cabinet is an appliance “garage.” I wish we had these “garages” under more of the cabinets so the toaster ovens would be under cover. This one pictured here used to have a small TV in it, but it currently is where some of our ever-growing collection of plastic food containers are stored.
