I think of putting together a meal as a creative endeavor. From the moment I think about making a specific meal, my mind goes from putting the ingredients together to serving. The serving part of a meal is all about presentation: a pretty table makes all the difference!
That doesn’t mean I have time to set a full table for each meal. Most meals are eaten at the kitchen counter and not the dining table. How about you? Pretty paper plates and different silverware styles can be part of a time-efficient meal plan.
Easy Spaghetti
INGREDIENTS
16 oz box of spaghetti
Big jar of Prego spaghetti sauce with sausage
Garlic powder
Pepperoni
Canned sliced mushrooms
Chopped green pepper
Chopped onion
1 lb. hamburg
Parmesan cheese
Hot dog rolls
Butter
Parsley flakes
DIRECTIONS
Put enough water on to boil for the amount of spaghetti you are going to cook. Salt the water.
In another pan, brown the hamburg with the mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. Add sauce. Season with garlic. Add pepperoni. Cook through.
Drain spaghetti. Serve spaghetti with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Slice hot dog rolls in half. Butter one side and sprinkle with garlic and parsley. Toast in toaster oven to your preferred toast setting. Serve with the spaghetti. A tossed salad is a nice side dish.
Serves 6-8.
