Bought some frozen Tyson Chicken Sliders a while ago and decided that tonight was the night to try them! Have you made sliders from a frozen product? Have you made them from fresh chicken and rolls?
The end result was tasty. We opted to add lettuce and sliced tomatoes and then we had a variety of dressings so each person could have their favorite. I had mayonnaise as did my dad. My mom used the dill mustard. I still haven’t tried that yet, but she loves it.
I followed the directions and found that the 10 minutes suggested on the box for the conventional oven was not enough time. I put them back in for an extra three minutes and they were just right.
This is the box of frozen Tyson Chicken Sliders I tried.
The instructions on the box show microwave, conventional oven, and air fryer. I decided to use the conventional oven.
There are eight sliders in a box and this is how they come packaged. The directions called for the chicken patties to be taken out of the buns. Chicken patties are placed uncovered on a baking sheet. Buns are enclosed in foil and are placed on the same baking sheet as the chicken patties.
Into the preheated 425 degree F oven they go!
Everyone gets called to dinner and we each try one with our favorite dressing.
These are the dressings we tried: French’s Dill Pickle Mustard; Hellman’s Spicy Mayonnaise; Cains Mayonnaise; and Heinz Spicy Mustard. We had lettuce and tomatoes, and Munchos for a crunchy side.
The banana is for scale. Sliders are small. These were just the right size. I hope you try them. They are perfect for a night when you only have 13 minutes to prepare dinner! Or for a quick lunch.
