Last year my mother and I made this lovely wreath. We saw a picture of a wreath on the internet (sorry, can’t remember what site, but thank you for sharing a picture of your wreath) and loved the colors and arrangement.
This is the original wreath above.
This is how I store wreaths at home: bag them and hang them on hooks in the basement. All those open beams are prime wreath-hanging real estate!
We decided to duplicate the look. We went to a local craft store and also the dollar store and got the things we needed: twig wreath (ours is 20 inches); an assortment of silk flowers in bright pinks and oranges; and glue sticks for the glue gun. We have a spool of green florist wire which we used for the hanging hook on the back side. Some wreaths will come with a hook. We also used small plant clippers to cut the flower stems.
Following the original photo, we figured which flowers would go where on the wreath. We then trimmed the flower stem, leaving enough of a stem to glue it and the lower leaves / petals to the wreath. We arranged the flowers as we wanted them and then glued them.
That’s all. We are very happy with the result! Time to go put the wreath outside by the front door!
If you don’t have time to MAKE a wreath, Walmart does have a nice selection of wreaths online. Do you have time to order it online and pick it up at the store? Look at this #walmartcreator #link for an artificial olive wreath. Beautiful!
I’ve been going through my make-up and organizing it. Did you read my post about my make-up choices? https://livingwithdana.com/2024/02/make-up-part-2-what-i-have-in-my-make-up-bag/
