Do you love lilacs? Do you have a lot of pine cones in your yard, or know someone who does? This crafty project repurposes pine cones so that they become a bouquet of lilacs!

The photos pretty much tell the story of how to put this beauty together.

What you’ll need:

Two different shades of purple spray paint to represent light and dark lilacs.

A basket or flower pot.

Floral styrofoam.

Spanish moss.

Wooden sticks (I used shish kabob sticks)

Green floral wire.

Wire snippers.

Hot glue gun.

Silk greenery: some can be used as filler and some can be glued on the stick to hide where the pine cone is wired to the stick.

Sprays of lilac (either real which one live too long but smell fabulous, or silk).

I just love the way this bouquet looks!

If you’re looking for another easy craft, read about this summer wreath my mom and I made together last year. It’s hanging by our front door now! https://livingwithdana.com/2024/05/gift-make-a-wreath-with-or-for-mom/

If you’re looking for a glue gun, they come in many sizes and I have one of each. I used the smallest glue gun for this project. You can get it at any craft store or go to my Walmart Storefront and use my #walmartcreator #affiliatelink:
