Are you heading off to college in the fall? Is this your first year? If you’re trying to figure out what you need to bring with you to make your dorm room as comfortable as possible, your college’s new student pack or student success center probably has a dorm room checklist. Get your hands on that checklist as soon as possible and gather all the items you think you’ll need with out delay as the summer will fly by! I’ve seen stores advertising their college dorm products so that means other college students are shopping, too.
I shopped at Walmart and looked at all the items that are needed for a dorm room. I wrote about the items I found at Walmart in an earlier post which you can read here: https://livingwithdana.com/2024/05/college-dorm-essentials/
I created this new dorm room essentials checklist to go along with keeping track of what items you have for your room and which ones you still need to get. There are “dorm room registries” on some popular online retailer sites (including Walmart) that you can use. You create a list of items you need at that store and then share a link to your list with parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles–anyone you think would purchase something on your list.
$30.99 (there were cheaper ones but with higher shipping, so be
careful when ordering; also check if the product can be picked up at
the store). NTBED Gray Faux Fur Knit Chic Texture Reading Pillow

Here is the dorm room checklist I made. Click on it or click here for a downloadable PDF to print.
My earlier post about college dorm room essentials shows the items from Walmart that are perfect for a dorm room, easy to purchase through my #affiliate links, and available in different colors, sizes, and options. Check out my #WalmartCreator storefront here: https://walmrt.us/43tZ0tq
I hope you have a great year at college! Thanks for reading my blog and shopping through my links. Have a great day!
