I have a lot of blue and white dinnerware, vases, pitchers, containers with lids, and more. My collection does not come from one source but has come from purchases at many stores as well as gifts. Setting a blue-and-white-themed table was easy, but so many choices! For example, do you want an accent color such as yellow (lemons, flowers, yellow gingham tablecloth, napkins, placemats)? Or you could use red as an accent and make the table look patriotic. I’ve seen winter greenery used with blue and white dinnerware and it looks good for the winter holidays (Christmas!).
I decided to go with all white flowers, but I highly considered daisies or hydrangeas. Both would have looked great! A lot of my dinnerware is Blue Willow but there are so many patterns available today that consider making a choice that can be mixed and matched with other blue and white dinnerware. I love setting the table. There are so many things to select that can pull your design together such as color-handle silverware, battery-operated table lights (even candle tapers!), napkin rings, table runners, etc.
Walmart is a great store to shop in because you can order online and pick it up in the store or have it delivered. Just check each item you select for its options which can include how many days for delivery to store (some are available for same day pickup) or how many days until item is shipped to you from the warehouse. Note whether there are shipping charges or free delivery (always get free delivery). Another tip is that if you are ordering silk flowers, make sure you know if you are getting one spray or a bush / bouquet.
