Pickle chaffles are fun to make and delicious! You can use your favorite cheese and pickle brands. If you don’t have a Chaffee maker, they are available at many retailers. They became popular as part of the Keto diet. I use store brand shredded four-cheese Mexican cheese and Claussen sandwich slice pickles. Just two ingredients!
Plug in chaffle maker. Keep lid down while gathering your two ingredients. Put about 1/4 cup cheese on griddle, followed by pickle slices, followed by another 1/4 cup cheese. Close the lid. Some chaffle makers have a blue light in the lid which goes off when the chaffle is ready.
You will know when the chaffle is ready when you can lift it in one piece from the griddle. Set on paper towel for a minute.
As the chaffle cools, it become crispy. That’s it! So delicious!
We have three chaffle makers at my house: the waffle one, a flat grill, and one that makes a shape (can’t remember which shape). They are great for people following a keto diet. I’ve given many away as gifts. You can make hamburger rolls in them without using any flour!
I’ve had the best fried pickles made in a chaffle maker, too. It was just sliced pickles coated with grated cheese and cooked! Crispy on the outside! I love pickles. The flat grill is great for frying an egg with a slice of cheese and ham to add to an English muffin for a super breakfast sandwich! #walmartpartner https://walmrt.us/3WhMprq
