This wreath was so easy to make! I made it a year or two ago and it’s still holding up well. I wanted to do more than garnish it with the Halloween ribbon so I brought out the glue gun and some silk flowers. When I was looking for a comparable wreath online I found several different versions of my wreath and one was selling on Etsy for $45 and another for $99. If you can put together this wreath with these items, you’ll be saving yourself a lot of money and using your creative side at the same time.

The wreath started with only a Halloween ribbon.

18-inch wire wreath form

hot glue gun

florist wire

twine

6-inch cardboard tube

3-feet green twine

shiny orange tulle

silk flowers, leaves, berries, pine cones

Wrap the tulle around the wreath form securing it in place inconspicuously with the florist wire.

Wrap the cardboard tube with twine to make the stem. Glue it in place.

Cut a length of the green twine and tie it around the stem once or twice and let about 9 inches of the green twine dangle in the front (tendrils).

Glue flowers, leaves, berries, pine cones and whatever else you want near the top of the pumpkin.

Make sure you can hang the wreath either with the wreath form or add some florist wire in the back.

You can add a bow if you wish. Make the bow removable so you can use one for fall / Thanksgiving and another one for Halloween.

The Halloween ribbon was removed so the wreath can be used all of September and November and during October a Halloween ribbon can make it spooky again.

That’s it! Now go ahead and Google this orange tulle pumpkin wreath and see the ones that are for sale. You’ve just saved yourself a lot of money!
