Hello friend, Can you believe weâre already in Week 31 of the Cleaning, Organizing & Decluttering Challenge? Weâre in the home stretch now, and this week, weâre giving some love to one of the most used (and most overlooked!) parts of our home: the living room furniture. Â Â
We sit on it, nap on it, snack on it, and sometimes spill things on it. đŹ So letâs deep clean those couches, chairs, and cozy spots where life happens.
𧟠This Weekâs Tasks:
Deep Clean Your Living Room Furniture
-
â Vacuum or clean upholstery
-
â Spot clean fabric or leather furniture
-
â Clean under the furniture and in all those crumb-catching crevices
If itâs been a while (or, letâs be honest, longer than weâd like to admit), youâll be amazed at the before and afterdifference. Think of it as giving your furniture a mini spa day!

đĄ Quick Cleaning Hack:
Baking soda + essential oil = odor-fighting furniture refresher.
Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with 5â10 drops of lavender or eucalyptus oil, sprinkle it over fabric upholstery, let it sit for 15 minutes, then vacuum it up. Your couch will smell like a dream!
đ§ Expert Tip:
According to upholstery care experts, you should vacuum your soft furniture at least once a week and do a deep clean every 3â6 months. Not only does it extend the life of your furniture, but it helps reduce allergens too. Your lungs and your furniture will thank you!
đ Motivation for the Week:
âWhat you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while.â â Gretchen Rubin
Youâre building habits that create a cleaner, calmer home week by week. Thatâs something to be proud of!
đ Coming Up Next: Week 32 â Bathroom Deep Clean
Next week weâre heading into the bathroom to tackle tiles and grout. Itâs time to scrub those often-ignored areas like the shower walls, tile floors, and faucet bases. Iâll share my go-to grout cleaner and a DIY scrub that actually works.
⨠Grab your Living Room Checklist, turn on your favorite playlist, and letâs give that furniture a little TLC. Youâve got this â and your future self will love sinking into a fresh, clean couch when itâs all done.
See you in the bathroom next week (figuratively, of course đ)!
