Painted rocks are more than just cute—they’re part of a sweet little movement called The Kindness Rocks Project. It started with one woman painting encouraging words on rocks and leaving them along the beach. Now? It’s worldwide! People of all ages create message rocks and hide them in parks, at trailheads, near store entrances—wherever someone might stumble upon one and feel just a little brighter.

🧔 A Rock for Dad 💙

With Father’s Day coming up, you can also make a rock just for Dad! Here are a few fun ideas:

• Paint his favorite sports team logo 🎯

• Write “#1 Dad” or a personal inside joke

• Make a mini portrait of Dad with a mustache and grill tools—go wild!

Paint it, seal it, and wrap it up with a smile. It’s a simple and heartfelt gift from the hands of someone who loves him most. Decorate plain brown sandwich bags as a gift bag. Wrap the gift rock(s) in tissue paper. The bag can be painted or colored with crayons, markers, pencils, and stickers. More fun!
