National S’Mores Day

National S’mores Day is August 10. How are you going to celebrate it? Try putting together this fun S’mores tackle box full of great foods to make the best S’mores ever! Read on for some of my favorite combinations.

What you’ll need to create your own S’mores Tackle Box:

• A sturdy tackle box (great for organizing everything in compartments)

• Marshmallow roasting sticks or forks (campfire-specific ones are best)

• Graham crackers

• Marshmallows (the fluffier, the better!)

• Fudge Stripe cookies (a delicious alternative to graham crackers)

• Oreo cookies (for a fun twist)

• Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (because peanut butter + chocolate = magic)

• Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate squares

• Hershey’s Mini Chocolate Bars

• Rice Krispies Treats (for something crispy and sweet)

Fave Combo #1

You’ll need: Fudge Stripe Cookies, a roasted marshmallow, peanut butter. Spread the PB on one cookie. Roast marshmallow and layer on top of PB. Layer a top cookie, or not. So good!

Fave Combo #2

You’ll need: Oreo cookie, a roasted marshmallow, peanut butter. Open Oreo cookies and spread the PB on one half. Roast marshmallow (find the thin marshmallows made for layering!) and layer on top of PB. Replace the top cookie and devour!

Fave Combo #3

You’ll need: Graham cracker, a roasted marshmallow, Ghiradelli Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Square. Put a chocolate square on a graham cracker. Roast marshmallow and layer on top of chocolate square. No need for a top cracker!
