Week 47: Office – Organize Digital Files & Emails

Can you believe we’re already at Week 47 of the Living with Dana 52-Week Cleaning Challenge? If you’ve made it this far, you deserve a serious round of applause — and maybe a fresh cup of coffee. ☕

This week, we’re moving into a space that might not have dust bunnies, but it can still feel cluttered: your digital world.

The Week’s Tasks

📁 Organize your digital files.

Take some time to go through your computer, tablet, or phone and delete duplicates, rename files, and sort things into easy-to-find folders. If your desktop looks like a game of digital Jenga, today’s the day to tackle it.

📨 Clean out your email inbox.

Unsubscribe from newsletters you never open, file important emails into folders, and let go of the ones you’ll never need again. (If your inbox number is over 10,000 — no judgment. We’ve all been there.)

💾 Backup important documents.

Whether you use a cloud service or an external hard drive, this step gives you peace of mind. It’s the digital equivalent of putting your valuables in a safe.

Helpful Tools

If you’re ready to upgrade your digital workspace, here are a few of my favorites:

💻 Reliable laptops and tablets – Perfect for managing documents and emails anywhere. Shop computers and iPads on Walmart. Scroll down the iPad page on the Walmart site and see the accessories which include a safety case, stylus pen, keyboard, stand. I always keep my iPad in a sturdy safety case so that if the iPad falls, the case will prevent damage. Walmart affiliate link https://walmrt.us/4nOBgJD

🗓️ Skylight Digital Calendar – Sync your family’s schedules and display them beautifully in your kitchen or office. It’s a total game-changer for staying organized. Skylight Calendar: 15-inch Wall Planner Digital Calendar & Chore Chart, Smart Touchscreen Interactive Display for Family Schedules – Wall Mount Included, Great for Organizing Your 2026 Calendar. 🖊️ Paper planners still have their place!

For those moments when you’re offline or just need to think on paper, a simple notebook or planner works wonders. Sometimes it’s nice to step away from screens and plan by hand — especially if you love pretty stationery as much as I do. Walmart affiliate link https://walmrt.us/47pBsJI
