Declutter Bedroom Surfaces for a Calmer, Cozier Space
If your bedroom feels a little restless instead of relaxing, take a look at your surfaces. Nightstands, dresser tops, and vanities tend to collect clutter quietly — until one day the room just feels off.
You can follow along with this year’s challenges in my new book “Habit + Home” which is available on Amazon. You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G6WTH3R2

This week’s project is simple: clear everything off your bedroom surfaces. Wipe them down, then only put back what you actually use or enjoy seeing every day.
A small vase, framed photo, or favorite candle can completely change the mood of your space. Less clutter means less visual noise — and that makes it easier to unwind at the end of the day.
Tip: If you love a clean look but still need function, try a small decorative tray. It keeps everyday items tidy while still looking intentional.
You don’t need more stuff — just space to breathe.
