Clean and Organize Garden Tools đż
Welcome back, friends! Weâre rolling right along in our 52-Week Cleaning, Organizing, and Decluttering Challenge, and this week weâre stepping into the garage. Donât worryâyou donât need to tackle the whole garage (thatâs a big project for another day).
Instead, weâre focusing on something that will make a huge difference: your gardening tools and supplies.

This Weekâs To-Do List:
â Organize your gardening tools and supplies
â Clean and sharpen any tools that need a little TLC
â Sweep and tidy up the workbench area
Why does this matter? Well, when your tools are in order, youâre more likely to use themâand less likely to buy duplicates because you canât find what you need. (I see you, three extra trowels hiding in the corner. đ) Plus, clean and maintained tools will last longer, which saves money and keeps your gardening projects stress-free.
Pro tip: Hang long-handled tools on hooks or a wall-mounted rack so theyâre easy to grab and put away. Smaller tools can go in a bucket, bin, or even a repurposed tote. The goal is simple: everything has a home.

And donât forget the workbench! A quick sweep, a wipe-down, and maybe a little rearranging can turn it back into a usable space rather than a âcatch-allâ zone.

Sneak Peek at Week 43
Next week, weâre heading back inside to the kitchen to clean and organize dish towels. Weâll sort through whatâs still in good shape, replace the threadbare ones, and fold everything neatly so your drawers donât look like a textile tornado hit them. Itâs a quick but satisfying projectâtrust me!
