Response to Week 3 Challenge: Spices
Guest Writer I purchased a 25-piece square glass spice jar kit from Amazon that came with a funnel, sift caps, labels and marker. The box was nicely packed with good cushioning inside but I still carefully checked each jar for chips and cracks. I didn’t see any so I proceeded to transfer spices from the…
Challenge #3: Spices
I use a spice drawer. I’ve always kept the spices in their original containers. I currently have the spices arranged so that 28 spices fit in the drawer (so I can read the labels), but there are at least another 10 to 15 spices that don’t fit in the drawer.

Pasta with clams, aka Linguine alle Vongole The featured image with this recipe shows a portion of the pasta being saved in a microwavable container for lunch tomorrow at work! I’ve had this dish at DaVinci’s in Lewiston and it is absolutely delicious. It’s a meal that can be prepared very easily.
Week 1 Challenge: Organizing and Cleaning
Create cleaning and organizing habits and maintain them as best you can. A long-held belief is that it takes 21 days to create a habit. More recently, the University College London has conducted research that reveals it “takes an average of 66 days to create a habit.”
