I always thought it was so cute when a pet owner had a special pet stroller for their small breed dog or even their cat and the pet
would get to go for walks around the block. The pet always seemed to enjoy the time outdoors, and the owner got a bit of exercise.
FLASHBACK
Of course, when I was much younger, I had a cat named Pepper who I would dress in my doll clothes and put her in my doll stroller to go for a walk around the block.
The other pet gadget that seems to be of the common sense variety are pet steps. If you have a tiny dog or senior cat who can no longer jump, these pet steps enable them to get up on the bed or the couch. A lot of senior dogs get arthritis in their hip joints and these steps make the climb to the top of the bed or couch less painful. I know someone who used one of these steps for her Chihuahua.
And the third pet gadget today that I want to share is a pet playpen. If you have visitors with pets, your own or the visiting pet could stay inside the playpen until the visit is over. The playpen isn’t a babysitting solution, it’s for temporary use. We also have pet gates, just like baby gates, to close off rooms to either keep our pet in a specific area of the house or keep visiting pets away from our pet.
So there you have it, my top three pet gadgets. You can purchase these items through my TJ Maxx affiliate links. Currently, TJ Maxx does not offer free ship to store options in Maine, but you can still order online and have it shipped to your door!
