This meatloaf recipe is a game changer for my family! We had never made meatloaf with Stove Top stuffing, but we saw a lot of recipes on the internet using the stuffing instead of bread crumbs and thought we’d give it a try.
Some family members like the meatloaf with ketchup spread over the top, and some prefer gravy. I created this recipe so that ketchup is squirted over half of the top before the last 10 minutes of baking.
Meatloaf with Stove Top stuffing
INGREDIENTS
1.5 lb. hamburger
1 box Stove Top (I used chicken flavored) Purchase through my @walmartpartner link: https://walmrt.us/49snGnw
2 eggs
Can of brown gravy, reserve 1/4 cup
1/2 cup of dried onions (or whatever you have left after following the directions for green bean casserole!) Purchase through my Walmart Storefront @walmartpartner link: https://walmrt.us/3xmhS1r
INSTRUCTIONS
Set the oven to 375 degrees F.
Spray a 9×13 pan or line it with non-stick foil. Check my Walmart Storefront for the pan at my #walmartpartner link: https://walmrt.us/3VQa8im. and the foil https://walmrt.us/4cF7FNT
Mix all ingredients together except save 1/4 cup of brown gravy to spread over the top before the last 10 minutes of baking.
Form the mixture into a meatloaf in the pan.
Cook 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread the 1/4 cup of reserved brown gravy over the top of the meatloaf. If desired, squirt ketchup in stripes over half of the top of the meatloaf.
Bake 10 more minutes.
Serve with rolls, mashed potatoes, and your favorite vegetable (we roasted vegetables the night before).
